Welcome to goosh.org – the unofficial google shell.

This google-interface behaves similar to a unix-shell.
You type commands and the results are shown on this page.

Google.at Participates in "Lights Off" Campaign

Today, when I wanted to look something up at Google, I was wondering if my MacBook display went nuts. But it wasn’t the display. The google.at and google.de site participate in the “Lights Off” campaign and therefore appear in a dark theme.

The line below the radio buttons says:
We have switched off the light. Now it’s your turn – Lights off.

The campaign aims to call attention to the global warming and that we should save energy, by switching off lights. Interesting is, that also some pubic buildings in Vienna will be attending. Eg. the city-hall of Vienna and the famous Stephen’s Cathedral.

I’ll definitely also participate!
